Measuring spoon tattoo on your hand vs stylish kitchen scale!
So last Sunday, there was our MD, indulging in a leisurely breakfast, with Channel 4's 'Sunday Brunch' on in the background, when suddenly a conversation between host and Chef Simon Rimmer, co-host Tim Lovejoy and their guests, caught his ear.
Ok, it was the word "tennis" that caught his ear, but anyway... They were discussing the fact that not all tattoos are purely decorative, or designed as memories. Some tattoos are simply intended to be practical! Yes, really! For example, the tennis coach who has a line tattooed on his side at the official height of a tennis net so that he can make quick adjustments to the net without having to get a measure out.
Or, how about the chef who never has to worry about measuring spoons because she has tattoos on her hand denoting one tablespoon and one teaspoon. A quick measure of flour or sugar into her palm, and then straight into the pan! Well it's certainly quick and efficient, we suppose.

But don't worry, we're not suggesting for a second that all keen bakers and cooks should resort to such measures! Ha ha!
No! We have a selection of fabulous kitchen scales for you to choose from instead.
These scales are really practical, look great and are small enough for easy storage.
And best of all, they don't require you to go anywhere near needles and ink!
Do you have a cool 'practical' tattoo you'd like to share? Send us a pic - we'd love to see.
